A COMPANY which provides contract furniture to the leisure industry has boosted its fleet of vehicles to help meet record demand.

Paul Dawson, Business Development manager at Motiva Group, left, with Paul Gill, managing director of Pure CF.

Pure CF, which supplies bespoke fixtures and fittings to hotels, restaurants, pubs and clubs, has enjoyed unprecedented growth during a five-year period in which it has more than doubled the size of its workforce.

The company, based in Staffordshire, has now taken delivery of five new vans for its busy installations team.

And managing director Paul Gill says the move is a sign that the leisure industry, and particularly the restaurant trade, is thriving once more.

He said: “Our business has been booming during the last few years and that shows that hotels, restaurants and pubs are doing well again.

“The industry suffered along with many others during the recession, but it has picked up now and demands for our products has never been stronger.

“Our fleet of vehicles has naturally increased in line with the growth of the company and, with the addition of these new vans, we now have 11 on our books.”

The vans, each decked out in the company’s green and black livery featuring a striking new logo, will each be allocated to a senior installer.

Mr Gill added: “The new vehicles will help make us more efficient at a stroke and will help keep costs to a minimum.

“We operate all over the country and our client base is growing constantly. The restaurant market in particular is growing at a remarkable rate.

“Our fitters will now be able to remain off-site for a number of days at a time so we can undertake multiple fit-outs at the same time.”

Pure CF designs, manufactures and supplies fixed seating, tables, chairs, cabinets and bespoke items for the hospitality trade.

The company employed 45 people back in 2010, but now has more than 100 on its books.

Much of its commercial fleet, which includes three trucks and now eight vans, is provided and maintained by fellow Staffordshire firm Motiva Group.

Mr Clifford said: “Motiva are competitive on pricing and provide an excellent all-round service.

“They’re always very responsive and their partnership approach is very important to us.”

Peter Wright, sales and marketing director at Motiva, based in Longton, says demand for trucks and vans has never been stronger.

Contract hire for HGVs almost doubled last year and figures in 2014 have been similarly encouraging.

He said: “The number of contract hire deals we are dealing with through our M-Way truck solutions arm is massively up on the previous 12 months.

“Companies are now showing much greater demand for new trucks on their fleet and that’s a sign that the economy, both in Staffordshire and the UK as a whole, is on the up again.

“Since we moved M-Way to our headquarters in Longton last year, we’re geared up better than we’ve ever been in the past.

“We can already supply any HGV, from 7.5 tonne up to 44 tonne and from rigid units to triaxles along with all types of trailers and we have funding partners in place to grow our truck solutions business further.”
